Setting the scene:
An outside of a grimy-looking gym in a random street somewhere. It is on a main road, but there isn't much traffic. Inside, the camera pans past people working out hard on fairly modern equipment. It is nice inside, with wood panels and music...the camera goes to a tucked-away door in a corner. There is a dusty staircase.
Upstairs is pretty much empty, but there is a wrestling ring. It's kind of run-down, the sort of place where people go to learn amateur-style sport wrestling. It has an authentic atmosphere, with boxing bags on the sparse walls, and windows fairly high-up.
Inside the ring, Skull, Wreckingball, Stevie Rock, Desperado and Dangerous Man Dan are brawling, practising moves, sparring and learning tag-team moves. All five men are showing off. Suddenly, Desperado and Dangerous Man Dan launch Wreckingball out of the ring, he rolls on the mats outside.
Wreckingball: As you can see, we've all been working pretty hard, and we all know we're going to win.
Interviewer: How can you be so sure?
Wreckingball: We've all got a lot to fight for. We've got a long and honourable tradition of wrestling to defend, and we're also fighting for our country's honour.
Interviewer: What, like William Regal?
Wreckingball: That's another thing. Not all Fighty fighty persons from Britain are pompous jerks either. We want to show the world everything that's great about our country.
Interviewer: How about all the crap as well?
Wreckingball: Well, Britain does have a lot of problems...but so does the United States, France, Canada...and anywhere else you care to name. Especially Donautvia...that has the biggest problem of all, considering it's not even a real country. I think No Mercy's been drinking out of the magic pouch a bit too much myself. Give me good old-fashioned cider any day!
(Wreckingball laughs)
Interviewer: Well, what do the rest of Team UK think?
Wreckingball: I can't speak for them...but they're only over there, so it shouldn't be a problem asking...
TBC anyone else in Team UK?
