The screen is pitch black and there it sounds like there is a storm going on in the background. The screen pans over to a girl sitting in a metal chair. She is sitting in it backwards and her arms are crossed over the top. She wears a black baseball cap and the bill hides her face because she is looking down. The cross and heart symbol stands out against its black background.
"I remember my Dad once asking me why I fight."
The voice of Izzy Wright gives away who the woman was. Her voice seems to echo as if she is in a very large, empty room. She looks up and you can see a firey passion in her eyes. The camera zooms in on her eyes and you can see scenes of the various matches she's been in flash in her irises. The camera pans out to show her face.
"I told him that it was because I was angry. I was angry because I was a girl. Because I didn't have a Mom like everyone else. I was pissed because I felt like he favored my brother."
There is a pain in her voice and it is slightly shaky. She takes a deep breath and stands revealing that she is wearing a black and white plaid skirt, a black tank top with 'Forsaken Angels' written in dripping red letters, and a pair of black and white converse. She walks in front of the chair and wipes a few tears that have escaped her eyes.
"That was the last thing I said to him. I didn't say I love you. He died a few weeks later and I will never be able to say I'm sorry again."
She walks towards the screen and her breath seems ragged.
"Now, if anyone asks me why I fight. I fight because I'm a girl. I fight because I don't have a Mom. I fight for my brother but most of all, I fight for my Dad because he was the most important person in the world to me."
She stops and she reaches to her neck where a necklace on a black strap hangs and sways from side to side. She tugs on it and the clasp breaks letting her hold it in her hands. She lays the charm in the palm of her hand and holds it out. The camera zooms in on it and it shows a simple celtic cross.
"This was the last thing he gave to me. That is why I'm the Celtic Angel."
The camera pans to her face and there is a serious look plastered all over it. The screen fades to black and words fade onto the screen. 'Love your parents. Never say I hate you.'
"You may never have a chance to say sorry. Just like I didn't."
End
