The sound of a bike engine can be heard in the distance and the noise from those centred around the cat walk dies down slightly, though not enough to make everyone notice, as some people look out into the night. The sound appears to be getting closer and many more heads turn to look out at the empty strip of road. Suddenly lights appear above a line of houses in the distance and much to their astonishment they realise it's a motorbike jumping off a huge ramp.
The bike thunders through the air and lands with a enormous thud as the tyres slam onto the concrete. The momentum shunts the bike into contact with the ground and sparks fly off the metal frame dramatically as the rider lowers the gear and continues to hurtle forwards towards the entrance. The people stood around the red carpet start to look worried as the bike is almost on top of them and they back away with increasing hesitation. Suddenly, the biker uses his weight and he turns the bike while applying the brakes, yielding a screeching noise as the tyres leave a rubber burn on the tarmac. The bike screeches to a halt at the foot of the red carpet and the biker steps off the bike, taking off the helmet as he does so.
Instantly the crowd recognises it as Rhaps and they begin to push forwards eagerly to get a closer look of the Safety Ranger. Rhaps walks forward to greet them, a friendly smile on his face. He shakes their hands and signs a few autographs while making his way to the entrance. Lizzie appears alongside him and Rhaps stops in his tracks as he moves towards her to say hello.
Lizzie: And here we have the Safety Ranger himself. I have to say, that whole bike jump wasn't safe.
Rhaps: I know, but it's something a bit more interesting than you're standard limo pulling up and you getting out.
Lizzie: It certainly is at that. Now a question for you. How do you feel about defending your title against not one but five other opponents. I mean, that's got to be a daunting thing especially since it'll be your first offical title defense since winning the belt from Justin back in July.
Rhaps: Well Lizzie, all my competitors are good in the ring as singles competitors. But there's going to be six men in a match that's never been seen before in GHW history. You have to be able to change your mindset into the match your competing in and plus there's five other competitors to worry about.
Lizzie: But with five other people all gunning for your title, aren't you at least a little worried that they may gang up on you to eliminate you first? That way there's at least going to be a new champion.
Rhaps: That had crossed my mind but I'm sure If I'm quick on my feet I can keep away from those sorts of situations and help to eliminate everyone else. And this is going to be like any other match, despite it being the first time that this title is up for grabs.
Lizzie: Well, the rules of this match means you have to eliminate everyone in there twice just to win. Is that even possible?
Rhaps: Well, I think it is. Once you have eliminated them once then it's going to be a lot easier to get the pinfall or submission a second time. The damage was done enough to do it once so there's not going to be a huge step in going for it a second time.
Lizzie: Well, that's all the questions I have for you. Good luck in that title match tonight.
Rhaps: Thank you very much, I'll see you at the after party. That is if I can move.
Rhaps waves at the crowd once more and he steps into the entrance of the arena. Quickly he stops and he retraces his steps back onto the red rope and he waves one last time to the crowd.
TBCB. They know who they are.
