For those watching at home, the show returns from commercial break and pans around the thousands of fans jumping, yelling, conversing and taking pictures. It then focuses on the two reporters.
Reporter 1: Welcome back to the Gods vs. Heretics pre show. We're just a few short hours away from the opening match.
Reporter 2: We've already see, Mr. Zantazm, Cosmos, Emblem, Chad Johnson and Overtaker. I can't wait to see who's coming next.
In the distance a blue Dodge Viper coupe with a White double racing stripe arrives. The passenger side door opens and out steps DMD. DMD is wearing a Black DMD Franchise t-shirt, jeans, 'trainers', his tag belt around his waist and his General belt draped over his shoulder. He closes the door as the door on the driver's side opens. As one would expect, DMD's tag partner, Tai O'Neil. Tai O'Neil is wearing a pair of jeans, a blue t-shirt with a red fist on the chest and a blue and white leather jacket with the red fist on the back. He calls out to one of the attendants and tosses the keys to him. His voice can be heard faintly saying "Go park it somewhere safe".
R1: I'm being told that the Tai and DMD have arrived. I can't wait to see what's going through their minds going into this night.
R2: Well here they come down the red carpet. Look at the smiles on their faces.
Tai and DMD walk down the red carpet slapping hands with the fans, taking pictures with the fans and signing autographs for the fans. They approach the two reporters.
R1: Tai, DMD, a pleasure to see you both tonight. We've got many questions as you can imagine. But we've seen and heard from DMD recently, so Tai, let's start with you.
R2: So firstly, Tai, what many people must be wondering is: Why haven't we seen more of you? It seems we've only seen you wrestling in the ring for quite some time.
Tai smiles and puts his hand through his black hair.
Tai: Well, I've been quite busy trying to launch a small business, which meant that I only had time to wrestle during the live events and barely any other time to make an appearance but my business has taken off and I hope to be around a little more often. Gotta help out the big guy.
Tai smiles as he pats DMD on the back. The two Reporters smile.
R1: Tai, you've been with GHW almost a year now, can you tell us about your career so far?
Tai: Sure. I made my GHW debut on November 20th, 2006 against James Bodybags Vexle for a chance to go to Salvation in a match for the Colonel Title. Sad to say, but I lost. However, as luck would have it, Vexle would have issues with his contract and I would take his place at Salvation. 6 days later I would become GHW's first Colonel Champion. But then I wouldn't get another match for nearly a month, where I would get two matches in one night at D-Day against Mr. Zantazm and Derek Blackcroft. My next match would come on New Years Day. A loss to Raju, although it was expected, I'm part Irish, and we tend to drink a lot on a normal day, New Years was special, so I drank even more. I would then go another 20 days before my eventful loss. I would lose at Lockdown to Mr. Zantazm and lose my title.
However, the next day, would be the day that DMD and I would begin our dominance of GHW's Tag Team Division with a victory against Rock Skull. On the 29th of January, I would get my first singles match after losing my title. A win against Scott Steiner, put me back into the title race. However DMD and I would go on to lose a handicap match to Euroman. On February 5th, I would become the first ever 2-time Colonel Champ by beating Mr. Zantazm. One week later it would be Zantazm's turn for a rematch, but no such luck. A successful defense for the Knockout Kid, but it would also be the last successful defense. However DMD and I would lose again in a handicap match to Ermac.
At Dawn of Destruction, I would lose my Colonel Title to Hawkeye but DMD and I would beat Euro Dominance, who had each single handedly beaten us prior to the PPV, to become the first ever Gold Champions.
For the next few months I would appear randomly. Fighting a few matches here and there, but none of any significance. DMD and I would defend our tag titles at Nexus and then lose them at Monday Night Combat on July 2nd. We would gain them back at Red, White and Bruised, but lose them again at Summer Ritual to Kings of the World, we were distracted by the other teams in the match. This was Mr. Zantazm's attempt to take our titles away and he succeeded partially, for you see he didn't end up with the belts, but in the end neither did we. Nevertheless we are again the Tag Champs and the first ever 3-time Gold Tag Team Champions.
R2: Before we ask you about your tag match tonight. Tai, didn't you compete a few times on the other shows? What were those like.
Tai: Well it was interesting to say the least, nothing like Combat or Mayhem. I would first appear on TNH and get into a tussle with Hawkeye and Rouroni. I would end up facing them with Sting in my debut match there. Sting and I lost. However I would Main Event the next show against Hayden Hardkore, one of my most memorable matches. After that win I would go on to Main Event the PPV, however I would lose horifically to someone much more capable than I, Vladimir T. Strife. I would lose again the next week to Alex Stall.
Tai chuckles a bit to himself and when he sees the wonder on the faces of the Reporters, he begins to talk again.
Tai: Well Hayden and I were supposed to have this big rematch right? Well neither of us were informed and so neither of us showed up. I don't know, i find that a little funny. And yet the blamed us. My match with Alex Stall would be the last match I had over there. They became to hardcore for my liking. I am more of a mat Fighty fighty person. That's why I'm thankful that tonight DMD and I only have to pin our opponents and not throw them through an exploding glass wall or something.
Tai laughs a little more and slicks his hair back again.
R1: Well speaking of tonight Tai, what do you guys think of your opponents: Top Gunz.
Tai: Zantazm is trying again for gold. He hasn't held gold since Nexus and he wants it back. Well he's not going to get it, not from us at least.
R2: DMD?
DMD steps forward, he had stayed quiet while his partner talked for quite some time and now it was his time to speak. He was patient, but he's a double champion and he knows that, so he knew his time to speak would come.
TBC by DMD only.
OOC: Yeah answer the question and then talk about the General Title and your own stuff. You can end it.
