As soon as the promotional video finishes playing and the ring is cleaned up from the previous match the lights slowly begin to fade out as a spotlight becomes transfixed upon the steel cage hanging above the ring. As some slightly dramatic music begins to play the barbed wire covered steel cage, roughly fifteen feet tall, is lowered around the twenty by twenty foot ring. Lizzie Morna and a series of referees remain on the outside of the ring when a familiar riff echoes throughout the arena. The attentions of everyone in the arena direct themselves to the entrance tunnel as it is slowly filled with sparks. All of the arena lights are blacked out with the exception of lights flashing randomly and rapidly from the titantron when the signature intro echoes over the PA. If you're having girl problems I feel bad for you son I got 99 problems but a bitch ain't one! [/b][/I][/center] "Points of Authority/99 Problems" by Jay-Z featuring Linkin Park deafens throughout the audience, nearly drowning out all of the "You Suck!" and “F*ck You Jake!” chants as Jake Diamond bursts out of the entrance tunnel. Half of the arena lights immediately come back on and flash aimlessly and randomly from the rafters after the too familiar intro. He stares down to the cage in the ring with a grin on his face as the Triumph title resting on his shoulder shines brightly from the reflection of the lights. Tonight, Jake not only wears his usual black and white ring attire but also his classic black and white vest with numerous insignias sewn on it and although covered by a pair of large aviator shades, Jake's eyes are still slightly visible as he peers down to the cage with a look of pure intent. LM: The following contest is a barbed wire steel cage match where you must either score a pinfall or submission inside of the cage and it is for the Triumph Championship! Introducing first; hailing from the "Second City", Chicago, Illinois and weighing in tonight at two-hundred and fifteen pounds; the current Triumph Champion, Jake "The Future" Diamond! JP: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the Gods Versus Heretics as we're live from the Neyland Stadium in none other than Knoxville, Tennessee! Ray: And we're brought to you by Metro PCS, Wal-Mart and Killian’s Irish Red Premium Lager! Our sponsors are definitely are almost perfect for an elaborate event such as Gods Versus Heretics! JP: And we will never see a better encounter between two Gods and Heretics than Brett Steel and the current Triumph Champion, Jake Diamond! This match is guaranteed to encounter lots of physicality and bloodshed as tonight Brett Steel is defending the honor of our own Lizzie Morna and Jake is defending his own life and title... Jake runs down from corner to corner on the ramp, taunting the fans he passes, before slowly continuing his stride down the entrance ramp. As he stops at the middle of he ramp, the song has crossed over to the “99 Problems/One Step Closer” variation. He lowers his head and waits patiently for a moment before stretching his arms to his sides, forming him in a shape of a crucifix igniting a huge series of explosions from both the titantron and the entrance ramp. The monstrous display of pyros finish with a large explosion from the titantron leaving smoke floating down in the shape of a diamond. Jake takes a small detour to a little boy cheering at him from the side of the ramp and kindly places his shades onto him, very Bret Hart esque. Ironically enough, wearing one of Jake Diamond's brand new t-shirts, the boy kindly accepts the gift and a kiss on the forehead and watches as Jake Diamond kisses the woman behind him before continuing to the ring. JP: There he is, Jake Diamond kissing his wife and child showing what little emotion he has before entering one of the most barbaric structures to ever grace a Gods and Heretics Wrestling arena. Although, despite being a loving family man I'm not going to take away what changes him whenever he enters a ring, turning him into the demented and demonic beast we've all loved to hate. Ray: Wait... Jake is married?! Ouch Jakey Pooh, break my heart why don't you... Oh well there is plenty of fresh meat in the back anyway, maybe Brett Steel become my own little sexy prize... JP: Well Jimmy we have to look at the "X Factors" of this match tonight. Lately Jake Diamond has been on a sadistic rampage, destroying everyone in his path just to prove he's the top Fighty fighty person whereas Brett Steel has been remaining under the live wire but proving after attacking Jake last night that he still has enough will to defend what he believes. We'll have to wait and see who has the clear advantage tonight! Jake stops at the foot of the ring and stares up at the monstrous steel cage wrapped in barbed wire with a small grin before slowly climbing up the steel steps and into the cage through the opened door. He quickly climbs through the middle and top ropes and spins to the middle of the ring in similar style to Shawn Michaels. He stops right in the middle of the ring before casually raising his hands up in the shape of a diamond before sharply bringing it down into an old school crotch chop. A large and single explosion bangs off of all the top corners of the cage then off of each turnbuckle in unison as the lights quickly change back to normal and his theme song slowly dies down. Jake removes his title and vest and passes it off to the referee who hands it to an official outside of the ring. Jake sends a threatening motion toward Lizzie Morna as the "You Suck!" and "F*ck You Jake!" chants continue to rain down. The Future shifts his weight from one foot to the other as he waits anxiously to begin the long battle against Brett Steel. TBCB: Brett Steel

Contract: gahwo.proboards55.com/index.cgi?board=rpcontracts&action=display&thread=1169368619__________________________________ As Jake waits in the ring for Brett to show up to the match he quickly becomes impatient and asks for a microphone. As he brings it to his lips to speak no sound comes out, Jake looks at the mic and blows into it before trying to talk again. And yet again no sound comes out, Jake looks around the ring slowly before asking for another mic, as it's handed to him the opening rift to Enter Sandman by Metallica begins playing over the PA. The lights shut off and begin flashing to the song. The stage explodes in purple and green fireworks as Brett Steel jumps out onto the stage. JP: This is sure going to be a hell of a site folks, Brett Steel and Jake Diamond in the ring for what could possibly be a final time. Many men have challenged Jake in recent history but a loss hasnt come his way in quite some time. And Brett is Jake's most recent challenger and he's the only one that has a past win against the Triumph Champion. Lucky for Jake it wasnt a title match. Ray: Well, thats one thing a lot of people dont realize. Brett doesnt need a title to know he's a damn good Mat Technician. He's probably come the closest to beating Vladimir Strife and he's actually beat Jake Diamond. Brett actually has quite a few men he can add to his list of wins but at the same time he's got quite a few losses as well considering he's faced two of the best men in this business a total of 4 times! JP: Wow Ray, you did your homework. Ray: What can I say the President of Jake Diamond and Brett Steels fan clubs really should know this much about the guys. JP: Oh god... They have fan clubs? Ray: Duh! Say your prayers little one Dont forget, my son To include everyone
Tuck you in, warm within Keep you free from sin Till the sandman he comes
Sleep with one eye open Gripping your pillow tight The song continues as Brett makes his way slowly down the ramp, he pauses midway and looks around the arena before leaping forward and sprinting to the ring, mid stride he leaps into the air and slides under the bottom rope before popping up to his feet in front of Jake. Brett grins widely as Jake looks at him angered, a few words are exchanged between the two men before the ref breaks them up. He tells them the rules of the match (which are few) and tells them to seperate to different corners. The men do so and the cage begins to lower around them. Lizzie: And now in the ring, the challenger for tonights Barbed Wire Steel Cage Match. He is the self proclaimed Technical Master, weighing in at 218lbs. Hailing from Oakland California, I am proud to present to you my saviour, Brett STEEEL!!!!! Lizzie smiles at Brett from outside the ring and he gives her a small wink before dancing around in his corner, pumping his arms, trying to get psyched for his match. TBCB Jake

As Brett’s music slowly dies down, the referee calls for the bell, beginning the match-up. Both men charge at one another instantly with their arms extended before locking up in a collar and elbow tie-up. Brett’s low weight advantage appears to have almost no gain over Jake’s height advantage other than a bulkier build and allowing himself to concentrate his weight more. As Jake pushes with all of his might, his lankier build nearly gives out as Brett unleashes a short, but powerful, push nearly knocking the Triumph champion down. Realizing his attempt is futile, Jake attempts a different approach by utilizing his martial arts background as he hammers a low kick to Brett’s left leg. As Brett’s leg buckles for a short moment, Jake unleashes a series of kicks to the left leg of Brett Steel quickly dropping him down to a sole knee. Still trapped in the collar and elbow tie-up, Brett looks up at Jake from his weakened position until retaliating back by thrusting his head straight ahead into Jake’s gut. Jake releases the hold and backs away, possibly being winded from the headbutt, as Brett Steel gets back up to his feet and charges at his opponent with a possible clothesline. Jake manages to narrowly duck under the clothesline and quickly counter by reaching behind, grabbing Brett’s head, and dropping down to the mat with a falling neckbreaker. Both men manage to recover rather quickly, charging at each other once again. This time Jake Diamond manages to gain the clear advantage by connecting with a low dropkick to Brett’s left knee before he could retaliate with a move of his own. With Brett down on the mat, Jake quickly runs at him and connects with a snap leg drop to the back of Brett Steel’s knee, further damaging the joint. JP: What an impressive way to begin this barbaric match. I would never of suspected it to begin like it did, but it’s a pleasant change nonetheless. Ray: Yeah, I thought there would be more dirty moves by Jakey Pooh, but he disappointed me once again... JP: You can’t tell me you actually wanted to see the eye pokes and groin grabbing by him did you? Don’t answer that, I already know what you’re thinking. Jake continues the assault on Brett’s leg as he grabs onto his left foot and pulls it up into the air before letting go and forcing his knee down to the mat with a vicious impact. Brett instantly rolls onto his back and grabs his sore limb. Although the minute of rest Brett’s leg is dying for doesn’t come so soon as Jake pulls Brett up to his feet and grabs hold of the left leg. Before Brett has a chance to plead to Jake, the Triumph Champion drops Brett back down with a violent Mandara twist. Brett lets out a small yelp after the dragon screw variation as the continuous throbbing pain only increases in severity. Jake sees his chance and quickly drops down onto his adversary and hooks both legs only getting a mere two count from the pin attempt. Already frustrated in the early goings of the match, Jake begins to lose concentration as it becomes overwhelmed with his fury. He grabs onto Brett’s left leg and lifts it up slightly before dropping a sloppy elbow drop followed by a few more, grinning each time Brett makes a painful groan. Jake stops his onslaught of elbow drops and lifts up Brett’s other leg before placing his foot in between and crossing the legs, applying the sharpshooter submission. As Jake rolls Brett over onto his stomach, he doesn’t realize how dangerously close he is to the cage wall until it becomes too late. Trapped in the sharpshooter, Brett discovers his only way out is with the use of his pure power. He plants his hands down firmly onto the canvas and pushes with both his legs and arms with all of his might, slowly feeling his legs becoming free. He doesn’t let up for a minute until letting out one final push forcing Jake to slam face first into the barbed wire draped structure. The audience lets out a loud cheer as the first sight of blood comes in an almost massive fashion as Jake’s face quickly begins to be covered in the red liquid. JP: And let the brutality begin! Brett Steel managed to recover from what looked like a terrible predicament in one of the best ways possible, striking blood from his opponent. Ray: What are you talking about?! Look at Jake’s beautiful face, it’s busted open again! I swear, is something else happens to his pretty little frame I think I might faint... JP: Then I don’t think this match is for you Ray. If Brett can get up to his feet and stay standing then I think this is only the beginning of the load road ahead of Jake Diamond... Ray: Why his face, why always his pretty face? It’s not just tonight, it’s every night! Don’t worry my sexy Jakey Pooh, I’ll help you with things your wife can’t... As Ray White is on the receiving end of a backhand slap by Jimmy Pate, Brett Steel is slowly recovering from the assault to his leg. Brett tries the usual approach and simply tries to push himself up which happens to work decently until his knee gives out halfway up. At the second approach, Brett manages to stand up nearly perfectly but continues to stumble as he walks over to an entirely stunned Jake Diamond. He grabs onto the back of Jake’s tights and drags him up to his feet before grabbing into a back suplex position. As Brett lifts Jake up, the strain on his leg appears to be too much quickly botching maneuver and dropping Jake onto the top of his head. The referee rushes over and checks on him, asking frantically if he can continue. Brett, stubbornly, ignores the referee and climbs back up to his feet and tries to lift Jake up, but gets pushed away as if something was wrong. The referee turns his attention to Jake Diamond who is laying on his stomach and the top of his head, possibly injuring his neck from the move. Brett Steel remorselessly grabs Jake from behind by his hair and as he tries to pull him up to his feet a handful of white powder is tossed into his face. While Brett wanders around the ring blinded, Jake scrambles up to his feet wearing a childish, teeth bearing grin through his crimson red mask obviously proud of the sneaky move. As Brett continues to wander around the ring, Jake seeks out some form of revenge from being bloodied as he grabs the back of Brett’s head and slams it against the unforgiving steel and barbed wire combination. As his face ricochets from the side of the structure, a small series of cuts form around Brett’s face from where the barbed wire connected. JP: Damn it Jake! This was turning out to be a great match until you had to use your usual underhanded and weaselish moves! You must feel pretty damn proud of yourself don’t you?! Ray: Now, now Jimmy, that was a smart move by Jakey. He acted hurt, and when Brett fell for it, he attacked his emotions. JP: Exactly, he acted as if he was injured and he wasn’t, a directly underhanded move in the eyes of the official and everybody else in this arena! Ray: Not in my eyes. In my eyes Brett Steel and Jake Diamond are equally to blame and should receive some severe punishment from me in their locker rooms after the show... Jake Diamond pulls Brett Steel back up to his feet and locks him up in a suplex position with Brett’s back facing the wall of the cage. Jake tosses up a middle finger to the audience with his free hand before grabbing hold of Brett’s tights and tosses him behind him with a snap suplex. The Future kicks up his feet and rotates his hips around, pulling Brett steel back up to his feet back into another suplex position. This time with his back facing the cage wall, Jake tries to bring Brett back but the beginning of a long series of unfortunate events occurs. Mid-air during the lift, Brett Steel rotates around and lands facing Jake Diamond’s back. He places his head under Jake’s arm and grabs onto his arm and leg before tossing the Triumph Champion spine first into the barbed wire covered cage wall with an Olympic slam. Jake lets out a load and thunderous scream as a new set of wounds become opened up all along his back a spine. As the Future lays against the cage wall with his mouth wide open, Brett places his hand in Jake’s mouth and pulls him away from the wall by top of his oral cavity and falls down onto him attempting the pin. Brett nods along with the count until Jake shoots his arm up after two, igniting frustration in the challenger. He climbs up to his feet and pulls a dazed Jake Diamond up with him. The obvious pain in his left leg begins to grow numb as his nerves get more and more shot after each step he takes, allowing him a brief moment to use his strength. Brett spins Jake around and grabs him in a standing half nelson with a minimal amount of pressure. He pulls backwards, trying to connect with a half nelson suplex, but Jake’s dead weight remains to be too much forcing Brett to find a different attack. The light bulb quickly turns on in Brett’s head as he rotates Jake’s head around, placing it under Brett’s arm with his arm continuing to be hooked. Unfortunately, before Brett can attempt the double arm suplex, Jake reaches behind Brett with his free arm and grabs the back of his right knee. Jake swings his hooked elbow forward planting it into Brett’s sternum giving him enough time to hook Brett into a suplex position and slamming him backwards with a fisherman suplex. JP: What a counter, Jake could pick up the pin right here! No, only a two count. I am amazed by the show of athleticism being put on display by these two incredible athletes tonight! Ray: It may’ve been good, but I think Jake just ran out of fuel on that move! No wonder with all of the blood but I have to ask, how long will both last with all the damage they’ve taken so early? JP: I don’t know Ray, but what I do know is that neither man is going to give up until they’ve beaten the other to a bloody pulp... Ray: Both are getting up Jimmy, how can they still comprehend that they’re fighting! I don’t think either man is going to survive tonight! Both Jake Diamond and Brett Steel force themselves up, both taken an almost equal amount of pain but still driven enough to fight until the night is over. Jake decides to try and slug it out, swinging wildly at Brett Steel only to get it ducked under. After dodging the punch, Brett tries to take Jake out with a German suplex but the heel of Jake’s foot agrees otherwise as it’s driven vertically up into the groin of the challenger. Brett releases the waist lock and grabs his loins instead allowing Jake to capitalize from the dirty move. Jake jumps and pivots in the air managing to connect perfectly with an Enzuigiri to the side of Brett’s face. Brett falls down to the mat almost motionless after the unbridled impact from the jumping kick, allowing a dizzy Jake enough time to try and regain his composure. Although, instead of going for the cover, Jake’s ego overwhelms his competence as he slowly crawls up to his feet and stumbles over to the corner closest to Lizzie Morna. Like a random drunk on the street, Jake spits out a random series of incoherent insults toward Lizzie, only to be tossed back into his face. As Brett Steel stealthily approaches Jake from behind, Lizzie gets up from her seat and smiles before pointing at the dangerous man behind Jake. Confused, Jake tilts his head before turning right into a high impact spear. Jake lets out a few deep coughs, spitting out a bit of blood each time, as Brett Steel takes a moment before hooking both of Jake’s legs for the pin. Despite the sheer velocity from the Stainless Nail, Jake shoots one of his arms up just barely breaking up the pin before the three. JP: Serves you right you pompous ass! That Stainless Nail was your own doings and if you wouldn’t kept your eyes on your opponent, none of this would’ve happened to you! Another case of what goes around comes around... Ray: Jake could’ve never seen that coming, it’s not like he has eyes on that back of his head! Although it would explain a lot... JP: I’m not even going to ask what on earth you’re talking about, but I have to disagree with you thoroughly. I have to give Brett Steel some props for that great spear, but he had better keep it up if he wants to win this one! TBCB: Brett Steel. I decided to give you the first high spot

Brett pounds on the mat angrily before dropping an elbow to the sternum of Jake Diamond and hooking a leg once more trying to end the match before he takes anymore damage. This time Jake kicks out of the pin before the two count, Brett pounds on the mat again before rolling away and kicking up to his feet. Jake slowly climbs to his feet as well and the two men turn to face eachother business and hatred mixed in their eyes. The two men quickly lunge at eachother and lock up in a collar and elbow tie-up, this time Brett quickly uses his technical mastery to shift his weight back, and pull Jake over with the loss of balance and sudden loss of resistance. Brett follows Jake over and spins, while still holding Jake's arm, before slamming down with a leg drop on the chest of Jake Diamond who coughs loudly from yet another heavy impact to his sternum. Brett slowly rolls away from Jake Diamond before helping him up to his feet, but much to his surprise his hands are knocked away by a pair a rising arms from Jake Diamond. The arms continue up before slamming down on the top of the head of Brett with a standing Axe Handle Smash. Brett slinks down to the mat from the impact his entire form limp, Jake grins lightly at his doing before stumbling back and leaning against the nearby turnbuckle rubbing his chest. JP: These two men are both amazing competitors and this match is surely looking to be a great one indeed. Ray: And sexy at that! Brett stirs lightly on the mat before rolling over to his back and looking up at the roof of the arena. Jake sees this and pushes himself away from the turnbuckle before jumping into a run, as he approaches the downed Steel, he quickly rolls across the ring in a sommersault and leaps into the air for a splash on Brett with a perfectly performed Rolling Thunder. Brett coughs loudly as Jake spins around on top of Brett before grabbing onto the previously worked knee of Brett and twisting it around, he quickly gets up to his feet before tucking Bretts foot behind his calf and falling backwards twisting on the knee of Brett even more causing Brett to cry out in agony. However, Brett thinks quickly of a way to stop the onslaught of his knee and pushes himself up off the mat with his good leg before forcing himself over and rolling over Jake slowly. Brett continues his roll straight to the ropes before reaching up to the ropes and using his upper body strength to help pull himself to his feet. He pauses against the ropes for a bit trying to catch his breath and hope for the pain in his knee to begin to fade, but Jake puts a quick halt to the hopes of the Technical Master with a low blow while Brett was leaning against the ropes, facing the crowd. Brett quickly grabs at his groin and falls to the mat in agony, his foot tapping against the mat and a look of disgust, sickness and pain within his eyes. Jake laughs loudly at the motions of Brett as he favors his family jewels. Ray: Here I come Brett! I’ll kiss it and make it all better I promise! JP *grabs Ray and pulls him into his seat*: No you wont! Brett still lay on the canvas favoring his jewels as Jake composes himself before moving towards Brett and helping him up to his feet. However, as Brett makes it to a standing position Jake receives a quick jab to the gut followed by 2 more. Jake stumbles back trying to protect his abdomen as Brett unleashes a fury of fists and feet, doing whatever he can with his MMA background to take down Jake. A few good hits land on Jake, one to the jaw, a sturdy shot to the stomach and another to the jaw, Brett reels back and moves in with another heavy swing as Jake ducks down and throws a shoulder into the stomach of Brett, lifting him off the ground before slamming him back down with an agonizing Power Slam. Jake follows the slam with a few quick knees to the stomach of Brett Steel before standing up and yanking Brett to his feet; Brett tries to fight back but Jake stops him with a stiff elbow to the head, sending Brett stumbling to the side. Jake follows the elbow up with a quick back heel kick sending Brett the other way. Jake steps towards Brett once more before leaping into the air and delivering a powerful roundhouse kick, sending Brett into a moment of darkness. Jake quickly takes advantage of this darkness by falling to the mat and covering Brett for an attempted pin, 1..2.. And Brett kicks out out of sheer will to survive. Jake pounds on the mat 1,2,3 and yells at the ref that he’s counting slow before hooking the leg of Brett and adding more weight to the pin this time. The ref pounds the mat, Jake nodding along with the count as the crowd counts it out, “1!” “2!” and cheers of happiness are heard as Brett kicks out yet again. JP: Brett really does have one of the biggest hearts I’ve ever seen in wrestling… Ray: You’d know because you’re old enough to have wrestled him in his Pre-Major TV days. Jake pounds the mat again and leaps to his feet, getting right up in the refs face to yell at him, the ref, stupidly, doesn’t back down, arguing right back with the Triumph Champion. Jake begins to get infuriated and kicks the ref in the stomach before DDTing him and outing him from the match for the time being. Meanwhile, Brett is slowly rising to his feet and as Jake turns around he comes face to face with Brett Steel, the two men stuck in a glare of power. Jake quickly shuts up the stare down with a shove to the chest of Brett, Brett follows up with a wild left hook but Jake turns his momentum against him by lunging forward and shoving his knee straight into the abdomen of Brett. Brett coughs loudly, blood flying from his open mouth as he slumps forward, Jake doesn’t let him fall however and quickly picks him up before running at the cage. As Brett and Jake hit the cage, the weight of the two men force the links of the cage to give out and both men tumble out of the ring. However, Brett is the worst off because Jake only tumbled over the ropes Brett got entwined in the part of the barbed wire cage that collapsed. JP: Oh my god! How did that happen?! That’s a STEEL cage! And Jake isn’t even that strong, KingBear himself has thrown men against those cages without them collapsing… I don’t understand what happened here tonight but I have a feeling some fowl play is afoot. Ray: This is sad… Poor Brett and Jake all hurt and laying outside the ring. JP: They’re probably seriously hurt because when you are surprised by something in these matches. At least something this big, you don’t have time to prepare for the fall so we’re hoping both men are ok… Ray: Oh no! Brett! Stop squirming! JP: Is he squirming or having a seizure?! Someone get down here!!!!!!!! ((OOC: Sorry Jake, I just haven’t had anything in me to RP at all lately and I had to come up with some reason for Brett to lose without losing his honor or dignity You and I will have a rematch sometime in the future but for now, Brett will be AWOL))
