'People Hate Me' by The Murderdolls plays through the arena as Vladimir Strife comes out of the back, swiping the curtains away with a grin as boos go up through the arena. Many fans cheer, still paying regards to the brutal 60 Minute Torment between Vlad and Rhaps. Vlad holds the Charging Glory in front of him, making his way slowly down the ramp and around the ring. He makes his way to the timekeepers station, the man handing him a microphone and Vlad giving him the finger before heading up the steel steps. Once in the ring, the audience comes to a hush as Vladimir stands there, eyes locked on the Charging Glory Championship.
"So... I have some news for everyone... something that probably won't make you too happy..."
Vladimir takes a deep breath and sighs as the arena remains still.
"I've practiced this so much... what to say... how to word it... and it's so different when I'm actually out here... when I'm in front of all of you wonderful fans... when the guys in the back can all see and here me..."
"Unfortunately... this is the very last time you'll see me in this ring."
Vladimir looks up and through the stands, the fans in awe at what they've just heard. Vlad swallows hard, a lump in his throat as he tries to speak again.
"I'm not quite at liberty to discuss why... but let's just say that when you go around pissing off people as much as I do... you're bound to piss off the wrong guys sooner or later."
"But hey, what can you do? Unfortunately though.. it seems like it's my time to leave this great company. And.. fate repeats itself. I bust my ass off to barely beat Rhaps in the 60 Minute Torment and win the Charging Glory title for the second year in a row at the same pay per view... only to vacate it shortly after."
The GHW fans, realizing this isn't a joke or some sort of storyline, are still quiet as a chant rises through slowly.
"DON'T GO VLAD! DON'T GO VLAD! DON'T GO VLAD!"
Vladimir lays the Charging Glory down gently on the canvas. He continues to stare at it, saddened at the thought that he'll never hold that title in his hands again.
"Allow me to make one thing clear though... An old friend of mine... Matthew Oliveira... recently quit as well. As he left, he talked about how he'd regretted the pain he'd inflicted on others and all that he'd done.... and said that this just wasn't worth it. He said to ask Vladimir Strife if he regretted everything he'd done to all of those people... well, I think that's a great question."
"I don't regret a DAMNED bit of it! Not ripping Brett Steel's arm out of socket, not putting LRey through enough glass to keep him busy pulling shards out of his torn body for a week, not drilling a freaking hole through Alex Stall's shoulder. I don't regret a bit of what I did to Rhaps in that 60 Minute Torment and I don't regret a single bit of the pain and the suffering I put Matthew Oliveira through, including trying to pick his brain with a power drill!!!"
"This is a dangerous business and I scratched, clawed and bit my way to the top of the ladder. I know, just like any man should, that there is a chance I won't walk out of the building every time I step into this ring. Are you fans sadistic? HELL YEAH! But you called for entertainment and I've been more than happy giving it to you. So, do I regret what I've done? Hell no... and I never will. I did everything I did for you fans and for this business and to push the limits of professional wrestling even further. If anyone feels different, that's their choice... but I love this business... I love you fans... and I love every single one of those people in the back. These guys I come out here and fight day in, day out, they aren't my enemies... they aren't my co-workers... they aren't just some guy or some girl... no, they've been my family. So for them and for all of you, one last time!!!"
Vladimir stands up straight and swipes droplets from his cheeks.
"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN...."
Vladimir chokes back a few more tears.
"THHHHANK YOU!!!"
"From the bottom of my black heart... with everything I have.. thank you for everything."

After Vlad finishes his speech, the fans continue their chant of 'Dont Go Vlad! Dont Go Vlad!' and 'Who are you?' by The Who begins playing over the PA for the first time in a long time. However, the arena doesnt darken and no pyros go off as KingBear walks out from the backstage area in Jeans, a leather jacket and a white T-Shirt. He has a small smile on his face as he looks down to the ring at his long time friend. He slowly approaches the ring before moving around and requesting a microphone. The attendant hands him one slowly before KingBear turns around and climbs easily into the ring, he approaches Vlad slowly before giving him a big hug, Vlad returns the hug for a moment before the hug is released as KingBear brings the microphone up to his lips.
"Gods and Heretics Wrestling fans, this is our final farewell to this great man, Vladimir Strife. I remember bringing him into wrestling as a young upstart wrestling fan with all kinds of hopes and dreams. I remember training in the gym with him day in and day out, no matter what kind of pain and torment I put him through, he wouldnt stop coming at me for more. He had a thirst for knowledge about this sport and a pain threshold that could not be matched, except of course by my own. HA!"
"I've watched this man climb through the ranks of ASWF, then continue to climb through the ranks of SCW, and now climb to the top of GHW. This man is a Legend of wrestling, he's always doing whatever he can to be the best. And thats why people hated him, because he did WHATEVER he could to win his matches, cheating included. Heh heh, Vlad, you really are a character my friend, and thats why I'm glad we're family. So all I really have to say is good luck with whatever you do next and good luck in your next Federation. GHW will miss you man." KingBear hugs Vlad again.
"They're gonna miss me too I think, because you arent going anywhere without me there to watch your back." KingBear grins lightly as he lowers his mic. "Me and you man, we're gonna do the same thing we do every night."
Vlad laughs lightly, raising his mic to his lips. "Whats that Bear?"
"Try to take over the wrestling world." Both men laugh at the little cartoon quirp.

Just then, the fans turn to the entrance again as another very familiar song hits the PA. A quick burst of power chords plays and the fans stay silent, not knowing if this song spells more bad news. As "Shut Me Up by Mindless Self Indulgence" plays out, Alex Stall walks out of the back. He is wearing his matching vest and pants with the skulls on them as well as a pair of black Chuck Taylor's. His eyes are showing clear without his sunglasses but his hands have his usual fingerless gunner gloves. The most noticeable features are the former Roaring Tempest title across his shoulder and the red around his eyes from openly crying as he looks out on the crowd with a smile on his face. He walks down the ramp and to the ring, hugging fans and clapping hands. He stops and looks around again, bringing a fresh wave of tears before walking the rest of the way and sliding into the ring. He stands up and drops the title, hugging Vlad like hugging a brother. They release and he hugs KingBear, the scene almost comical with the size difference but still moving with how meaningful it is. Alex takes the microphone from KingBear and nods to him while trying to choke back the tears. He lifts the microphone as he lifts the Roaring Tempest Title up.
~::Alex Stall::~ "This right here, this fifteen pounds of leather and gold in my hand are my tribute to every last person here and at home watching.... I came to this company with two goals, win this title and first and foremost entertain the hell out of every last one of you! To do that, I fought my heart out, I have faced people I consider to be world's away from me in both skill and ability. Dave Carter, Hawkeye, Lil Rey Ray, Jake Diamond..... Vladimir Strife..... all of these men were not only opponents but also the best friends I have in this world. Every single person who has ever seen a showing of Solid Core Wrestling.... my home. Every single person who has seen a showing of Gods And Heretics Wrestling or Power and Finesse Wrestling, all of you have touched my heart in more ways than I can imagine. And for everything I thank you all."
Alex slowly places the Roaring Tempest Title next to the Charging Glory on the mat and wipes away his tears. He then turns to Vladimir and KingBear and smiles.
~::Alex Stall::~ "You two are the whole reason I am here. Vlad here for introducing me to Solid Core and you KingBear for kicking me in the ass every single chance you could to make me improve. So, to the fans.... Thank you for everything but sadly, I can't let these two o and not tag along. These guys are the reason I'm here and the reason I am the man I am today. So to GHW and all my amazing fans.... Goodbye for now!"
Alex drops the microphone and smiles along with Vlad and KingBear, hugging them both again and thinking about what they are all going to do after their departure.

Post by Rhaps on Jun 13, 2008 6:20:34 GMT -5
As the fans remain resolutely shocked at the announcements made, Nobody by Skindred blasts throught he speakers, reverberating heavy metal music laced with Raggae throughout the entire building. Rhaps walks outt from backstage, a vague smile spread across his facial features as he looks at the three men stood in the ring. He points squarely at Vlad, his face darkening even in light of the new found respect for the Safety Ranger. Rhaps remains stood in the entrance ramp placing his hands in front of him and half bowing to him in a show of respect. The fans begin applauding Rhaps' display of sportsmanship as he begins walking calmly towards the ring. Vlad's stance eases as Rhaps jumps up to the ring apron before ducking under the top rope, entering the squared circle amongst a group of men he wouldn't usually be seen with. He walks over to the title belts and drops to his knees, picking up the Charging Glory title belt and holding it out in front of him. Tears begin streaming down his face after Rhaps' loss at Nexus. He places it gingerly again on the canvas before asking for a microphone. One of thrown to him and he catches it easily.
Rhaps: I have a few words to say hear tonight. Now everybody knows of the recent animosity between Vlad and myself but that's past. At Nexus we showed the world we are equally talented while this man in front of me got the edge he needed to win. And for that I applaud you and congratulate you on a hard fought win. You did what nobody else could, push me to new levels and for that I thank you also. Its almost a shame to see a world without the Bambi Killer being in the halls of GHW or in fact not seeing any of these men here in this ring after tonight.
So, with great sadness, I'd like to announce that Rhaps too will be retiring from Gods and Heretics Wrestling. For many reasons, many of them personal, but the Safety Ranger would be out here tonight vacating the title if circumstances had been different. My decision had been made before Nexus but now, it makes me proud to stand here in this ring and say I was GHW and I fought the best match I could ever have. I threw everything in and Vlad still triumphed. So Vlad, thank you once more and I'll be seeing you around.
Rhaps throws the microphone back to the stage hand and walks up to the man that dethroned him. He extends his hand towards him, Vlad doing the same before they shake hands firmly. Rhaps nods his head towards Alex Stall and KingBear before walking towards the ring ropes. He ducks under them and stands atop the ring apron for a few seconds, looking out into the heaving mass of humanity sprawled around the ring. He nods to each and every fan before dropping to the concrete and walking back up the entrance ramp.

Post by Lrey on Jun 13, 2008 13:59:08 GMT -5
Once more the fans begin to quiet down, watching three of the greatest to be in the business, and the best currently in the business leaving from their site. The fans begin applauding the men in the ring, still most shocked that they are leaving, and others screaming for them not to go. The beautiful sound of an electric guitar rings through the arena, sounding to be more tuned for Rock n' Roll styled music that anything else. The crowd keeping the cheering up, as "Too Much, Too Young, Too Fast" by Airbourne comes over the speakers, the familiar face of the Demonic Angel walking through the entrance curtains, his wire like black hair falling down his face. He has on a pair of black jeans falling to black and white Zoo Yorks, an inscription across them reading "Entertaining..it comes naturally." As you look at his torso, it has the picture of the blood red raven made from dots, Demonic Angel being spelled out below it. In his hand is a microphone which he raises to his lips as the cheers die down.
Lrey: Well, I knew this day would come..because well you kinda told me it would. It's still a shocker none the less. Because look at these fans, there loosing one of the best they ever saw in the ring...you know being second to me and all buddy. Vlad, I have faced you what is it now, only two times? Whatever the number is, I don't remember it from blood loss of course. And hell, every time I woke I always heard am EMG machine beeping, and some weird old fat guy standing above me asking me how many finger he had up.
Lrey gives a little smile, seeing as Vlad is doing the same, as he descends the ramp, and climbs into the ring.
Lrey: I am not THE best in the business my good friend, you are. I didn't ever think I could beat you, I always had to tell myself that to give me a false hope, to give everyone in GHW a false hope. When you have a man as destructive as you, and no one had the ability to stop him, people wonder. That's not a bad thing either, because whether you know it or not, you pushed me. Hawkeye pushed me, KingBear pushed me, Alex pushed me, hell even Rhaps pushed me. And look at where I am, yea, I'm not at the top of the food chain, but I can say this without sounding like some prissy little kid who just joined the ranks, I will be remembered as a legend. Vlad, you will be remembered as the legend. You'll be remembered always as the guy who was damn near unbeatable. Who didn't make hardcore, but made it more innovative and interesting. You changed it from swinging a chair in most peoples eyes, to swinging a flaming sword.
Lrey: And now look at you, the Big Bear guy. I think your something exceptional man. You have got to be one of the biggest influences in most of the veterans eyes. Being the reason because you taught Vlad how to be..well Vlad. And nobody knew how to do that, and I don't think that anybody still knows how to be him. Nobody is going to fill his shoes, you know that, I know that, we all know that. But, Mr. Bear, you are quite possibly one of the greatest teachers in the business, easily one of the most recognizable men, because lets face it, who can't see that gut you got going on nowadays? But most importantly, you are the most respectable legend there is, and sir, as much respect is due to you, I don't believe it can be payed to you, because that's frankly an assload. You have a place in the history at this place, hell all three of you do.
Lrey: And finally, on to the last of the three of the amigos that are leaving. My good friend, Mr. Alex Stall. I have fought alongside you, and on opposite sides from you, and no matter where we fought when we were in the same ring, it was a pleasure seeing you get your ass kicked. But you know I love to joke and kid with you bro, being as you won so many titles that I got jealous..which being in as many years as I've been in the business and as few titles as I've held I should be. You were very distinctive from everyone else. Even though I was in the business much before you, friend, my style was always said to be the one you created, which always gave me a little chuckle really. And now I see why, you are a man with passion for the sport, who can easily make friends, and can gain followers of the sport as if it was nothing. You have talent and potential from out of this world, if you would just buckle down, stay focused and use it. And to you, my good friend, I say goodbye, being as this is one trip I can't take with you. My place is here for now, I need the paycheck and I need to solidify my own place in the history books. To the three of you, I say good luck in the future, and I hope you only the best.
Lrey shakes all three of the mens hands, before walking back up the ramp.
