Al: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Tuesday Night Triumph! The Hardcore Games begin tonight and I cannot wait!"
Fuzz: "And therefore we've got some great matches lined up tonight, but first we have an address from all of Stone Orchard!"
The cheering crowd begins to quiet down before "The Profit of Doom" by Type O Negative hits the PA and the fans begin booing. Reverend Vortigern comes through the curtain and takes a few steps down the ramp, standing almost halfway down donned in his red robe with his walking stick in his right hand and a microphone in his left. Vortigern stops almost halfway down the ramp before looking backward and gesturing toward the top of the ramp for someone to come, at which point Brian Commonwealth, Metal Dragon, and Damien Kain walk out in single file with the New Age, Charging Glory, and Television Championships respectively around their waists, all donned in their usual ring gear.
"You know, I could think of 1,000 ways to better start the show than with these guys."
"Shut up, Colin! These men are the greatest thing to ever happen to GHW and we're lucky to have them! Just look at their waistlines!"
Vortigern leads his three followers down the ramp before walking to the ring steps as Brian, MD, and Damien break the single-file line to stand and all slide under the bottom rope into the ring. The Reverend walks up the stairs before stepping in between the top and middle rope into the ring. The three members of the Orchard line up side-by-side, Brian in the middle with MD to his right and Damien to his left and face the entrance ramp as their leader stands facing them for a moment before turning to the ramp himself and beginning to speak.
Vortigern: "Ladies and gentlemen, Tried and Convicted has now passed. And anyone who watched it knows that EVERY prophecy I made during the show was fulfilled. Damien Kain has joined our ranks after winning the GHW Television Championship and I would like to officially welcome him into the Orchard."
The Reverend turns toward Damien, looking up at him and briefly nodding at him before turning his attention back to the jeering audience. Vortigern waits a moment for them to quiet down before continuing.
"In possibly the most physically demanding match of the night, Metal Dragon, the former TV Champion whose shoes were filled by Damien, won the prize that is the Charging Glory Championship, physically and mentally destroying four men to capture the belt."
The crowd's booing strikes up again as MD adjusts the belt on his waist, admiring his win from Tried and Convicted as the camera zooms in briefly on the scar on his forehead from the hook that hung overhead in the match.
"And finally, Brian retained the New Age Championship against Ryu Kenamora, giving Ryu the false hope that he was going to win by count-out before climbing back into the ring and hitting the Magnum Opus for the three count. Ryu, you may have defeated Brian in the NeXuS, but you will NEVER pin Brian to take the belt from him because Brian Commonwealth is superior to you."
Brian stands completely still, seemingly oblivious to the now nearly deafening boos and jeers of the crowd, staring off into space with no emotion showing whatsoever.
"Now, the last item of business I want to cover tonight before we proceed to be entertained by the Hardcore Games, which Metal Dragon and Damien Kain will both be competing in, is the issue of the tag team belts. You see, I stated after Matthew Oliveira took his leave that the Heaven and Hell Aligned belts belong to Stone Orchard, not just Desperado and a partner of his choice. However, after Desperado left, somebody apparently lost the memo and now... Gnarfflinger and some other imbecile hold the belts."
The crowd cheers for Reeves and Gnarff much to the annoyance of Vortigern.
"You see, I would like to call Reeves and Gnarfflinger out here to challenge them for the tag belts. Stone Orchard has chosen two men, one already in my congregation and one new member to go after the belts. Now we demand that one or both of the Demolition Thugs get out here because we WILL take back what is ours."
"This is ridiculous! Vortigern's suddenly claiming that they own the tag team belts in a cheap effort to get more gold!"
"It was clearly stated after NeXuS that that was the case for the belts, so quit your whining! If Reeves and Gnarfflinger deserve the titles, then they will beat this team that's about to challenge them!"
The crowd stirs, wondering if the tag champs will come out and more importantly who the new member of Stone Orchard is.
TBC Reeves or Gnarff (Whoever posts, please bring both people out in one post.)
