The match had continued on and on, with both men being tested. All around the arena, the scattered mess of broken weapons and the smearing of each cometitors blood lies strewn about the ring area. Thomas Cathy has managed to stagger to his feet in the ring, moments after he had flung a trashcan at his opponent, knocking him over the top rope and out of the ring to the unforgiving floor below. The cut on the Samoan Submission Machine's head had opened up further, and he spits blood out from between a battered and broken face. Slowly, he feels his body begin to protest to the battering, refusing to follow his instructions and get up one last time.
Inside the ring however, Hayden had staggered through the pain, looking through blood soaked eyes to where the New Age Champion lies at his mercy. The only thing left to do is finish the Samoan off. Hayden climbs atop the turnbuckle closest to where his broken opponent lies. He faces in toward the ring, exhaustion and agony seared onto his face, mentally lining up his opponent for the kill.
With a blood-curdling war-cry, filled with passion and real pain, he leaps off the turnbuckle, Moonsaulting in the air. While in mid-air, he corkscrews through a 180 degree twist so that he would land face first across the body of Samoa Joe. At the last possible minute
of the move, he tucks his body around and hits a Swanton Bomb on the New Age champion, sending the arena into an uproar. All around the arena, fans stand to their feet as one, while the move lands. A collective cheer is sent around the arena, the past momentarily forgotten as the electrifying Jackass hits his trademark move.
Hayden takes his time to roll off Samoa Joe after the Twisting Swanton Moonsault hits, but he grabs a hold of Joe's legs almost instantly, quickly turning Joe's body like a pretzel and locking in a Sharpshooter on the cold, hard concrete outside of the ring. It is a technical move that has not been seen in the playbook of the Jackass for a very long time, the perfect move to show the world he is not just a one trick pony. And the effectiveness of the move is obvious instantly, as Samoa Joe seems to animatedly come back to life, screwing his face up in pain and yelling out bloody murder from the move.
After a long and desperate fight, Samoa Joe's searching for a way out of the relentless Sharpshooter seems more and more to be in vain, and he slams his hand onto the lightly padded floor repeatedly, yelling with all the energy he has left...
"I give, I give"
Like the sound of a victory Trumpet-Call, the ring bell sounds repeatedly at the request of the ref. Quickly, the belts are prepared, and Linda is called on to announce the winner.
The crowd is split in their greeting of the new champion, as Hayden lets go of the Sharpshooter to be handed his titles. He slides into the ring, and the ref lifts his hand in victory. With the adrenaline starting to wear off after a long and tough match, Hayden shakily accepts both title belts, the KOTDM Championship over his left arm, and his new title, the New Age Championship across his right arm. With a bloody smile across his face, he lifts both titles high into the air, while camera flashes around the arena capture this historic moment in GHW history.
96 Quite Bitter Beings hits the arena as his celebrations begin, and he almost collapses to the mat, exhausted. As he teeters away from the ring, slinging both championships over each of his shoulders, he grabs the Crown of Thorns that he had discarded by the entrance ramp earlier, reaches down to pick it up and puts it back on its rightful resting place, atop his head. The thorns once more dig into his flesh, but he does not feel the pain. He walks slowly back up the ramp, the trickle of blood flowing down his face as he walks to the beat of his music.

But that alone is not going to get the job done. Samoa Joe needs to be conscious to tap out. Hayden HardKore better hope and pray that he has not pushed the boundaries of pain tolerance too far with that.
