Friday Night Mayhem (9/26/08): Friends in Bad Places
LIEUTENANT
1. Stevie Rock 2 v. The Ultimate Kid (Ladder-docs)
No Contest
Notes: Former Lieutenant Champ Ultimate Kid needs to get back on the winning side of things if he ever has aspirations to be champion again. Tonight he takes on Stevie in a ladder match.
2. Non-title Match
Lunchtime Legend v. Ultimate Gene (LMS-docs)
Winner: Lunchtime Legend
Notes: Two Time Lieutenant Champion Ultimate Gene is coming off a great night at Code Blue and now has to take on the man from the cafeteria, Lunchtime Legend. Who's gonna stay down for a ten count?
3. Lieutenant Gauntlet
Rated R Golden Star v. Tito Ortiz (Single-docs)
Winner: Rated R Golden Star
Notes: The Ultimate Opportunist defeated RhinoMan on Combat to move to stage two of the Lieutenant Gauntlet. His next foe is Tito Ortiz. It's going to take a great amount of endurance for the Golden Star to go all the way, but anything is possible.
CAPTAIN
1. LMS Tournament Match
Rated R Legend Killer v. Tommy Musashi (LMS-docs)
Winner: Tommy Musashi by default
Notes: Tommy Musashi and Shane Williams are new to the Captain Division, but they'll have no time to sit around and get comfortable. The two Superstars will clash in a first round LMS Tournament match, and it's gonna be ugly.
2. LMS Tournament Match
Skull v. JH777 (LMS-docs)
Winner: JH777
Notes: Skull faces JH777 in LMS Tournament match that should be fun to watch. Both are former Captain Champions and both would love to win back that Title at Gods v. Heretics if they can survive the helacious tournament.
3. Non-Title Match
Will Powers v. DARKLORD (Single-docs)
Winner: DARKLORD
Notes: Will Powers was successful in defending his gold at Code Blue on Sunday, but now he has to take on a brand new opponent with whom he has no experience facing, DARKLORD. This traditional match will show off each of these Superstar's technical skills, and if DL can pull off a victory over the champ, it will be one he will remember for a long time.
COLONEL
1. RJ Wild v. The Irishman (Ladder-docs)
Winner: The Irishman
Notes: RJ Wild takes on The Irishman in a ladder match tonight. Both of these Superstars could make a great case as to why they should be featured at Gods v. Heretics this upcoming month, but their best option is to prove it in the ring.
2. Sergei Kravinoff v. Luther (Single-docs)
Winner: Luther
Notes: Sergei faces Luther in a singles match tonight, and it should be a match worth watching. Sergei has reopened old wounds with his ex-tag team partner Skull, and no one knows where that feud may lead in the future. Luther may take advantage of the distraction to Sergei.
3. ValKyrie KD v. HawkEye (Table-docs)
Winner: HawkEye
Notes: Kelly Duncan is back along with the Bulldogs and she is ready to rip into some opponents. She faces HawkEye tonight in a table match and it will be exciting to see what she can do against the veteran and former champion.
GENERAL
1. Psycho Savage v. Big Closet (Table-docs)
Winner: Psycho Savage
Notes: Psycho Savage takes on Big Closet in a table match tonight to kick off his General Division career. Psycho was a former Colonel Champion and there's no reason he shouldn't be atop his new division if he works just as hard.
2. Black Dead v. Eric The Torture (Ladder-docs)
Winner: Eric The Torture
Notes: BD lost a heartbreaking match to Eric's tag team partner, Pennylane, at Code Blue, and he would love nothing more than to take it out on Eric tonight in their ladder match. Eric is looking to keep BD's singles losing streak going, and push his own career at the same time.
3. Non-Title Match
Luke Kinkade v. Pennylane (Single-docs)
Winner: Luke Kinkade
Notes: Luke retained his General Title once again, this time defeating CHARISMATIC HARDY at Code Blue. Tonight he faces another Code Blue winner, Pennylane, and the last time they met, there was a controversial ending. Will this match be fought according to the rules, or will there be more shenanigans?
TAG TEAM
1. Skull and Crossbones v. Wild Closet (docs)
Winner: Skull and Crossbones
Notes: Skull and Crossbones face a tag team who isn't getting along lately and possibly headed towards splitsville, Wild Closet. Will RJ and Big Closet be able to co-exist in this tag match or is all mayhem going to break loose?
2. Debut Match
Symphany of darkness v. Unleashed Rage (docs)
Winner: Symphany of darkness
Notes: The duo of DARKLORD and The Irishman debut as a tag team when they take on Unleashed Rage in a Silver Division tag match. Can the new duo make a good first impression and move toward a potential Silver Tag Team Title shot down the line?
