Monday Night Combat (3/2/09): Unlocking Rage
LIEUTENANT
1. Non-Title Match
YOUNG GANGSTA v. Prince Martini (johncenaisdabest239456) (Single-docs)
Winner: Prince Martini
Notes: YG takes on GHW newcomer, Prince Martini, tonight in a non-title singles match to kick off the show. After seeing what Prince Martini did to Martin Prince this past week, YG should be careful.
2. Mystery Madness
trickshot v. [Mystery-Luke Kinkade] (LMS-docs)
Winner: Luke Kinkade
Notes: trickshot begins round 2 action in the Mystery Madness Tournament and as usual, his opponent is a mystery. We do know that someone will be down for a ten count though.
3. #1 Contender for Lieutenant X-Force Title
The Angel of Darkness v. Level One (Cage-docs)
Winner and NEW #1 Contender: Level One
Notes: AOD has been named the #1 contender for the Lieutenant X-Force Title, but he'll have to work hard to prove that he's the man for the job. Tonight his contendership is on the line against Level One and the two will be enclosed in a steel cage. Who will escape with their pride and the #1 contendership for the time being?
CAPTAIN
1. Mystery Madness
Tommy Musashi v. [Mystery-Essa Rios] (Table-docs)
Winner: Essa Rios
Notes: Tommy Musashi won convincingly against mystery opponent Torjio Kazukuni on Mayhem, and he looks to be the favorite from this point on if he can keep up that sort of damage. Tonight he takes on his next obstacle with a bunch of tables at hand.
2. Mystery Madness
Tito Ortiz v. [Mystery-Marcus Airbourne] (Single-docs)
Winner: Tito Ortiz
Notes: Tito Ortiz is ready to drop a knockout on whoever may come to the ring to face him in this second round Mystery Madness match. Only time will tell who his draw will turn out to be.
COLONEL
1. Mystery Madness
Lunchtime Legend v. [Mystery-Luther] (Single-docs)
Winner: Luther
Notes: Double L got the privilege of sitting out round 1 action in Mystery Madness with a BYE, but now he gets a taste of the action against an unknown character in a singles match.
2. Mystery Madness
The Unabomber v. [Mystery-Euroman] (Ladder-docs)
Winner: The Unabomber
Notes: The Unabomber is on a mission, and anyone who gets in his way may be in for an explosion. RJ Wild was his first victim, and soon we'll see if his second round opponent faces the same fate.
GENERAL
1. Mystery Madness
Angelus v. [Mystery-Big Closet] (Table-docs)
Winner: Angelus
Notes: Angelus is a Tournament expert, as he's almost a lock to be in the final two of any tournament he joins. Tonight he takes on a mystery opponent in a table match.
2. Mystery Madness
The Impacter v. [Mystery-Pennylane] (LMS-docs)
Winner: The Impacter
Notes: The Impacter surprised many when he took out Mr. Money in the Bank, Psycho Savage, last week as a mystery opponent in the Tournament. His recent promotion to the General Division has been a success so far, but who will he face tonight?
3. Mystery Madness
Dyna Mike Duncan v. [Mystery-Slim Shady] (Cage-docs)
Winner: Slim Shady
Notes: Dyna Mike Duncan took out Gnarfflinger with precision last week, and he'll look to make it two in a row in this month's tournament in his match tonight. He'll be inside a cage, which suits him well to boot.
4. Non-Title Match
Big Daddy v. Black Dead (Ladder-docs)
Winner: Black Dead
Notes: When Big Daddy has gold in his possession, it's hard as hell to take it away from him. He has proven time after time to be a steady champion and that was displayed at last month's PPV. Tonight he takes on Black Dead, who was recently ousted from this month's Tournament. Hopefully Big Daddy sends another blow to Black Dead's confidence tonight.
TAG TEAM
1. Mystery Madness Hardcore Tag Team Match
Master and Legend v. Brutal Thugs (1-1-1)
Winner: Master and Legend
Notes: The new duo, Master and Legend were impressive last week in their debut. Now they face either Brutal Thugs or United Gangstas in the Bronze Division Mystery Madness Finale. Oh, hardcore rules will apply as well.
2. Mystery Madness Hardcore Tag Team
The KiLLers v. One Machine (1-1-1)
Winner: The KiLLers
Notes: The KiLLers are dying to face either One Machine or MB and ForSakeN in this Mystery Madness hardcore match. One of these teams could go all the way to face MILF and Cookies at Total Carnage.
3. Mystery Madness Tornado Tag Team
The Flying Airmen v. UK and the Asian (Single IDs- docs)
Winner: The Flying Airmen
Notes: The Flying Airmen were dominant last week, but will they be a strong match for the rested and debuting UK and the Asian? It will be a crazy one as all Superstars will be legal in the ring at the same time.
4. Mystery Madness Tornado Tag Match
Lost Cause v. Xtermination Squad (Single IDs - docs)
Winner: Lost Cause
Notes: Xtermination Squad are looking to rid the Gold Division of another team in the Mystery Madness Tournament. Will it be Lost Cause or Hassan and Brawler?
5. Non-Title Match
Bulldog Savages v. Hardyhawk (docs)
Winner: Bulldog Savages
Notes: The new Gold Tag Team Champions will get back into the ring tonight after their huge victory at Dawn of Destruction. They will take on the new team, Hardyhawk, who were eliminated from Mystery Madness last week. This should keep the champs on their toes.
