Friday Night Mayhem (5/1/09): Mayday, Mayday!
HARDCORE
1. Future Talent Match
Zeph Calder v. Bob the BadGuy (Single-docs)
Winner: Zeph Calder
Notes: Bob has a lot to prove in GHW, and he's looking to start his streak in the Hardcore Division. His opponent will be Zeph Calder, who is looking to turn his luck around as well.
LIEUTENANT
1. Ultimate Gene v. Martin Prince (Single-docs)
Winner: Martin Prince
Notes: Ultimate Gene received a BYE in the Table Tournament the first round, and Martin won his first Tournament match on Combat to move on. That means that these two could lock up once again on Combat in a Table match. Let's a get a preview of what may come.
2. Table Tournament
YOUNG GANGSTA v. Rock II (Table-docs)
Winner: Rock II
Notes: In a Table Tournament match, YOUNG GANGSTA takes on Rock II, who has dominated YG in LMS matches the past few weeks. YG will hope that the different match type makes a difference.
CAPTAIN
1. TimeSplitters
ForSakeN v. Torjio Kazukuni (Single-docs)
Winner: ForSakeN in 18 moves
Notes: ForSakeN is eager to get some competition after his last week's opponent dodged him by not showing up. He will take on Torjio in a TimeSplitter match that all depends on speed.
COLONEL
1. Non-Title Match
Luther v. RJ Wild (Single-docs)
Winner: Luther
Notes: Luther, the Colonel X-Force Champion, lost to Euroman, the Colonel Champion last week on Mayhem. This week, Luther looks to make up for that defeat by overpowering RJ Wild in a singles match.
2. Non-Title Match
Euroman v. Eric The Torture (Cage-docs)
Winner: Euroman
Notes: Euroman is on a roll, and his next obstacle is Eric the Torture and a steel cage. This won't be an easy one to walk away with, but I'm pretty sure Euroman can get the job done....or can he?
GENERAL
1. TimeSplitters
Big Daddy v. Angelus (Single-docs)
Winner: Angelus in 29 moves
Notes: It's Big Daddy and Angelus' turns to take on the TimeSplitter concept and see who can defeat the other in the fastest time. It looks easier than it actually is, however.
2. TimeSplitters
Muhammad Hassan v. CHARISMATIC HARDY (Single-docs)
Winner: CHARISMATIC HARDY in 34 moves
Notes: Jake Steele specializes in singles matches, so he may have an advantage over CH in TimeSplitters. CH will work hard to slow him down though, and that could result in a victory.
3. Non-Title TimeSplitters Match
ValKyrie KD v. Slim Shady (Single-docs)
Winner: ValKyrie KD in 37 moves
Notes: Due to the odd amount of General Superstars in the Division's Tournament this month, Slim Shady will take on the General Champion, Kelly Duncan, in his first TimeSplitters match. If Slim wins, he gets to record a time for the Tournament. If Kelly wins, she forces Slim to win his next two matches no matter what or he's out of the Tourney.
TAG TEAM
1. Havoc v. The KiLLers (docs)
Winner: Havoc via default
Notes: The KiLLers will face an opponent they have yet to see in tag action yet tonight. Havoc will make their return to the ring after a long absence, and it will be interesting to see if they've missed a beat.
2. Non-Title Match
Bulldog Savages v. Catastrophic Duo (docs)
Winner: Bulldog Savages
Notes: Bulldog Savages are that damn good, and you can look at their track record if you don't believe it. Catastrophic Duo gets the tough job of trying to master them tonight, and there just may not be an answer at this point.
