Monday Night Combat (9/21/09): Code Blue Terminated
LIEUTENANT
1. Friend or Foe Tournament
YOUNG GANGSTA/Bruiser Brody v. Vampiric BB/Psycho Savage (docs)
Winner: YOUNG GANGSTA/Brusier Brody
Notes: Both Bruiser Brody and Psycho Savage will get an early call up from the Hardcore Division so that they can take part in this month's Fried or Foe Tournament festivities. PS is still aching over his Hardcore Title loss to Travis Truth last night at Code Blue, but tonight he'll have to suck it up and team with John The Crusher to face Bruiser and his partner, YOUNG GANGSTA. Right now these partner tandems are friends, but if they should make it to the finale, they will have to face each other as foes.
2. Spawn v. Bob The BadGuy (Ladder-docs)
Winner: Bob The BadGuy
Notes: Spawn takes on Bob the BadGuy in a good old ladder match tonight, and due to an unfinished match at Code Blue, we don't know if Spawn is still the Lieutenant X-Force Champion.
CAPTAIN
1. RhinoMan v. Ultimate Gene (Table-docs)
Winner: RhinoMan
Notes: Ultimate Gene is getting the early call-up to the Captain Division, but let's face it, he's way overdue for the promotion. He's been in the Lt. Division so long that he can almost be considered a lifetime Lt. Superstar. That all changes tonight whether he likes it or not, and RhinoMan will usher him in with a few tables.
2. Rock II v. The Master (Cage-docs)
No Contest
Notes: Rock II takes on The Master inside a steel cage tonight, and it should be fun for both of them while they wait to enter this month's Gauntlet.
3. Gauntlet Tournament
ForSakeN v. Martin Prince (Single-docs)
Winner: ForSakeN
Notes: ForSakeN lost his second consecutive bout to The Angel of Darkness at a GHW PPV, and the veteran cannot be happy with his performance. AOD has his number or something, but that's not going to stop FSN from winning this month's Gauntlet and earning one more Title shot at the biggest PPV of them all, Gods v. Heretics. He does have to get past Martin Prince first though...then the rest of the Captain Division.
COLONEL
1. Unknown Soldier v. Malcriado Beast (Single-docs)
Winner: Malcriado Beast
Notes: Unknown Soldier spoke for the first time last week, and it didn't help his chances of winning the Colonel Championship at Code Blue last night. Samoa Machine retained after escaping the cage, and now US has to start over again to get another shot. MB will be his opponent tonight in a very thin Colonel Division.
GENERAL
1. Friend or Foe Tournament
Dyna Mike Duncan/Gnarfflinger v. Lunchtime Legend/Muhammad Hassan (docs)
Winner: Dyna Mike Duncan/Gnarfflinger
Notes: The Friend or Foe pairings are in, and the Dynamic leader of the Bulldogs has been partnered with Gnarff the Butcher. Their opponents will be Double L and Jake Steele. Partners are friends for now, but if they should defeat the other tag teams in the Tournament, they will have to turn on each other in the Finale for the Tournament win and the #1 contendership.
2. Friend or Foe Tournament
Pennylane/Eric The Torture v. Slim Shady/Big Closet (docs)
Winner: Slim Shady/Big Closet
Notes: Eric The Torture was defeated by his "friend" Kelly Duncan in their General Title match last night at Code Blue, but now he and his old friend, Pennylane, will finally unite again as Skull and Crossbones. They will take on Bling Bling Brothers, who are already a tandem in the Gold Tag Division. The heartwarming reunion of Eric and Penny could turn ugly in the end of this Tournament if they should make it that far, but let's not think about that yet.
TAG TEAM
1. Master and Legend v. EsSamoa (docs)
No Contest
Notes: Being that there are a load of tag matches already booked tonight for Friend or Foe, only one regular tag match is scheduled and that is between Master and Legend and EsSamoa. M&L are looking for Silver Tag gold again, but have failed to reach that goal. EsSamoa will give them a tough challenge though, and they also are probably eager to get into the Title chase.
LIEUTENANT
1. Friend or Foe Tournament
YOUNG GANGSTA/Bruiser Brody v. Vampiric BB/Psycho Savage (docs)
Winner: YOUNG GANGSTA/Brusier Brody
Notes: Both Bruiser Brody and Psycho Savage will get an early call up from the Hardcore Division so that they can take part in this month's Fried or Foe Tournament festivities.
