What a week! We've got a new Hardcore Champion in the form of David Carter - AKA Travis Truth - and a bunch of hungry competitors who can't wait to get their chance at him. All in due time gentlemen. For now, you all must focus on this month's tournament - the Twist of Fate that will bring you to Gods v. Heretics!
In case you're wondering, here's how the tournament will work this month. Each Hardcore superstar will fight the same number of matches as every other star. 2 points will be awarded if you win, 0 if you lose, -2 if you fail to show. Now here's the twist of fate - every card, you will be assigned a partner and will be rewarded - or reprimanded - based on his or her performance. If your "partner" wins, you will gain 1 point. If he or she loses, you will lose 1 point, simple as that. A no-show on your partner's part will cost you a point, so it would behoove everyone to participate this month, unlike last month. Oh, and one more thing - our very own champ will be added to the tournament. A win against him will score you an extra point and if he is selected as your partner, you do not lose any points if he loses - on the other hand, you don't gain any if he wins. He's the wildcard in this. So now that you know the rules, let's get it on!
